Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16 year old American born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a Psychotherapist. The father of her mother, who is native of Argentina with Scottish and English descent is her mother. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English heritage. Taylor Joy also has 4 siblings, one from each of her parents' previous marriages. They lived within Buenos Aires until she was six years old, and then moved to the Victoria region of London. Taylor Joy states that the move to England was very traumatic. Taylor Joy was unable to master English and hoped she could return to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school after she moved from Northlands. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she was a ballet student and performed in school plays. After 16 she quit school in order to explore acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to be an actor. The opportunity was offered to her chance to try it by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management and was offered an opportunity as a model.
