Kelly Clarkson was an American artist and songwriter who was the America's sweetheart when she was crowned American Idol in the first season. Not only was the winning that ushered Kelly Clarkson to fame, it also landed her an arrangement with RCA Records 19 Recordings & 'S Records for a number of albums. She has since released numerous studio albums. 3 of these made it to the US Billboard 200 chart, however, others narrowly missed the mark. She was among the most popular performers on American Idol. She started to explore music and themes after her fame was growing. To acknowledge her talents and uniqueness, she has received a lot of praise and awards. She has also received the Grammy Award a record three times. Music isn't the only thing she does. Her appearances in television and film. She also wrote the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as been a part of numerous charities.
