She is best known for her character Maggie Beckett on the TV series Sliders and also in the role of Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror comedy movie Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised in Brookfield Connecticut as her mother was Karin Noble, who worked as a payroll clerk, and German American Andrew Wuhrer. She has three siblings and brothers. She began singing in club nights as a teenager. She would sneak out of her house to sing. Kari Wuhrer was an American model, performer and actor.
