Amanda Blake (born Beverly Louise Neill) was an incredibly popular American actress. Best known for her role in the role of Kitty Russell in the TV series "Gunsmoke", Kitty Russell from the TV series "Gunsmoke", she was also a very popular American actress. Additionally the show, she also appeared in dramas on television like "The Red Skelton Show", "Tattletales" and "The Edge of Night". Additionally, she appeared in many other movies like Stars In My Crown, Duchess of Idaho,?Cattle Town Crusoe,?"About Mrs. Leslie",?The Adventures of Hajji Baba,??High Society? The Boost What?. As a former operator of a phone, Blake was an avid animal fan. With husband Frank Gilbert, was one among the first individuals to successfully breed cheetahs in captivity. The American model was one of founding co-founders of Arizona Animal Welfare League (AAWL). Blake was also a committee member for the Humane Society of the United States. Blake has been awarded many honors, including being inducted into Hall of Great Western Performers of National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. The American Cancer Society also gave her a Courage Award.
