Sundar Pichai

Sundar PichaiPichai Sundararajan or Sundar Picha (Indian-American business executive) is better known. [6] He is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Alphabet Inc. and its subsidiary Google.Born in Madurai in India,[4] Pichai received his bachelor's degree at IIT Kharagpur in metallurgical engineering. He obtained an M.S. in the United States after relocating to the United States. After moving to the United States, he earned an M.S. in materials science and engineering from Stanford University. After a brief period at the management consultancy firm McKinsey & Co., Pichai joined Google in 2004, where he was in charge of the product management and innovations for a range of Google's client software products such as Google Chrome and ChromeOS as well as being largely responsible for Google Drive. In addition he was later able to supervise the development of various other applications such as Gmail and Google Maps. In 2010 Pichai also revealed the open-sourcing for the new video codec called VP8 from Google and unveiled the new video format, WebM. The Chromebook was launched in 2012. Pichai, the man who supervised the launch of Android in 2012, added Android to his list of Google products.
